Overview: European River Cruise Managers are a type of recreation leader that plan, organize, and lead activities. They must be able to explain activities, enforce safety, modify activities as needed, and administer first aid. These managers and planners are responsible for activities, especially planning outings with all the local and historical sites along major European rivers. They will also need to be able to keep track of the activities participants as they travel on and off the ship. This job will involve office activities and outdoor recreation. While the planning and organizing of activities will take place in office space, they will travel with and manage the participants.
