Overview:  United States Air Force Public Affair Officers use their diplomatic expertise to educate the public about the US Air Force while safeguarding the details of endeavors from foreign threats. These experts develop a strong working relationship with media representatives as well as serving as liaison with civilian organizations and other groups to properly share the Air Force story without jeopardizing national security.  Skills learned in this position are easily transferrable into public affairs positions in the civilian and government sectors.
