Overview: Credit Products Manager (CPM) is a leadership resource designed to benefit a market and the role is intended to be flexible to meet specific market needs in addition to Commercial Credit analysis, underwriting, structuring and portfolio management. The role is designed for use in markets where the physical geography is large. The number of credit product employees reporting to a CPM is large or there are other factors that indicate the market would benefit from utilizing an additional leadership resource. The CPM position will typically be filled with a top talent CPO or Sr PMO. The role may include supervision of CPOs and/or CP analysts (Trainees) as well as any other roles and can be a pathway for future leadership opportunities. The CPM is a member of the Regional Credit Products leadership team, the market leadership team and will work closely with Risk and Client Management. Where appropriate, the CPM can remain the primary credit products contact point on a small number of key relationships as determined by Sr CPM and ME. The CPM will also be available to the CPE for specific regional projects. Specific responsibilities can include the following items. Review and approve credit actions as determined by Sr CPM. In times of high new transaction volume, work with CPOs as needed on complex transactions and/or in winning and negotiating new transactions. Work with Sr CPM to achieve and/or maintain high client satisfaction and employee engagement. Responsible for the rigorous development of direct reports, including the preparation of specific development plans and frequent one-on-one coaching. Manage & facilitate CPA/PMOI training, working with other markets as appropriate. In conjunction with Risk, set and maintain high quality benchmarks for credit analysis in approval documents with action plans for specific employees. Run/organize monthly credit meetings with Sr CPM and CRE attendance. Assume responsibility for adherence to policy/procedure changes. Manage the FAS, AER, Streamlined FAS/AER, Borrowing Base and In Progress Scorecard reports on a weekly basis.
