Building and Grounds Cleaning
Employment in building and grounds cleaning and maintenance occupations is projected to grow 5 percent from 2019 to 2029, faster than the average for all occupations, adding about 279,500 new jobs. More workers will be needed to keep up with increasing demand for lawn care, landscaping, and cleaning services from large institutions, including universities and corporate campuses. Many aging or busy homeowners also require these services to help maintain their properties. (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, September 2020).
