 OverviewRain, snow melt from the Rockies. The Missouri River and main tributaries are flooding. Biggest flood since the Great Flood of 1993. Mississippi is flooding, levees have burst. Thousands of homes have been flooded. Davenport, Iowa is a disaster area. Some potential contributors to these types of events include: meteorologists, weather forecaster, emergency management, mapping specialists, levee repairers, future flood planning, food distribution, early warning, agricultural response and planning, business recovery, municipal recovery, public works (water, sewers), reopening schools.
